Here it is, in all its glory: The first full track from the much anticipated supergroup Them Crooked Vultures. Yes, there has been somewhat of an obsessive amount of posts about these guys on You! Listen! Now!, but honestly, if we’re talking about Dave Grohl, Josh Homme, and freaking John Paul Jones, who wouldn’t be watching them like a hawk? Er…Vulture?
This is somewhat of a surprise move, however, as the three songs that the group released little snippets of before now were for the songs “Nobody Loves Me, And Neither Do I,” “Scumbag Blues,” and “Elephants,” (all of which are from the band’s upcoming, self-titled and -produced album, set to drop on November 17th), but the song in question here is titled New Fang.
No complaints from my end, however; this song epitomizes “badass,” (gotta love that slide guitar!) as I’m positive the other songs will do as well, once the record is released.
And when that record is released, you can bet the one of the first places you’ll find a review will be right where you’re reading this :)
