Nine Inch Nails sells touring instruments on Ebay
Anybody looking for a Banjitar?

Along with the celebration of the band’s 20th anniversary of their first album “Pretty Hate Machine”, industrial rock legend Nine Inch Nails was finally put to rest as a touring group by frontman Trent Reznor. Though there has been a great deal of talk about the work going on between Reznor and 80’s musician Gary Numan, Reznor has just made a move that basically confirms the placement of the last nail in the NIN coffin:
He’s selling the band’s crap.
In a post on the band’s website last week, Reznor stated that “Hundreds of items will be listed over the next several weeks such as guitars, keyboards, amplifiers, drums, staging, anvil cases, cables, rack/outboard gear, guitar effects, and pedal boards” on ebay right here. Right now, Reznor seems to be trying to get rid of guitars mostly, though there does happen to be an awesome “Banjitar” posted right here as well (…whatever the hell they used that for, I have no idea, but it looks pretty damn cool).
Keep an eye out on the page in the next few week for some cool (and possibly more affordable) gear you might want to get your hands on.
Hear Spoon’s New Single Here
Seven albums and still the most badass sound around.

Texan band Spoon have been doing this whole indie/blues thing for a long time now (their first album, Telephono, was released a whopping thirteen years ago), and in that space of time they’ve released six whole albums along with seven EP’s, but their next studio album, titled Transference, is looking to be their best yet.
Though the record won’t be released until January 18th of next year, the singles released so far have been truly rock-tastic. The first of these two songs was released earlier this year on the Got Nuffin’ EP (with the single being the title track), but the second song, titled “Written in Reverse”, was just recently POSTED ON NPR RIGHT HERE.
And yes, it’s AWESOME.
The band has gotten increasingly odd as time has gone by, and this song, I’ll admit, is a little strange at some points (it starts with the line “I’ll write this to you in reverse / someone better call a hearse”), but it’s still very loyal to the band’s amazing track record.
Hope you enjoy it! Feel free to comment about it in the box down below :)
Veedeo: “Ambling Alp” by Yeasayer
Ok, so I promise these aren’t ALWAYS going to be amazingly strange.
The past few Veedeo posts I’ve made on here have been increasingly weird and apparently drug-induced (exhibit A: Grizzly Bear’s “Ready, Able”), and really, this one isn’t any different— by a long shot.
This song, off of Brooklyn-based band Yeasayer’s forthcoming album titled “Odd Blood”, is without a doubt one of my most recent favorites. You can also download a free copy of it from the band’s website, which I highly recommend doing. But this video (which, I’ll warn you of now, is NOT SAFE FOR WORK due to occasional nudity interspersed throughout it) has to be one of the weirdest things I’ve ever watched. Complete with mirror-faced horsemen and boxers, weird goop-people with detachable faces, and some random person messing with frontman Anand Wilder’s face while he sings, this thing takes the cake in the odd department.
Even so, however, the song is a really great listen, you can bet I’ll be listening to the full album once it drops on February 9th. Hope you enjoy it too!
