2010 is about to have its winter socks righteously rocked.

Looks like there were some late Christmas presents that still had to be delivered in the Indie music family.
Blue/indie rockers Spoon will be releasing their highly anticipated seventh studio album, titled Transference, next week on January 19th, and they’ve just announced a tour in support of it— with none other than Deerhunter opening for them.
Though Deerhunter have no definitive plans for a new album, at least as far as they’ve announced, the group always has some tricks up their collective sleeves, and you can be sure you’ll be able to get a glimpse of those if this tour happens to be going through your town. What’s more, up-and-coming groups Strange Boys and Micachu and the Shapes will be supporting the two bands as well during part of the trek. You can check out the upcoming dates down below:
