Veedeo: “Splitting The Atom” by Massive Attack

And yea, the trippy, freaky videos continue to come into existence.

In promotion of their forthcoming album, Heligoland, trip-hop legends Massive Attack have released a music video for the single “Splitting The Atom” which features Horace Andy on vocals. Technically, this song was already released late last year on the Splitting the Atom EP, along with three other songs featured on the groups newest record, set to drop next week, but this should definitely build some tension for the album, especially when paired with the VERY not-safe-for-work micro documentary released in December that featured the song “Paradise Circus (feat. Hope Sandoval)”.

The video itself is really all one still-frame, but it is explored (literally) in a very interesting way. It’s not too clear what’s going on at the beginning, and, I’ll admit, I still wasn’t too sure what the hell I was looking at during certain parts of it, but it’s a very mysterious and cool setup nonetheless.

And yes, that’s a giant bunny.

Now go watch it!
